How To Make A Quiche

A spinach and bacon quiche can be served for brunch or even as an appetizer or little bite between meals. This high-protein dish will keep you satisfied throughout your day. Chop spinach and cooked bacon and combine the mixture in a pie crust. Whisk eggs and heavy cream in a separate bowl and pour into the pie shell containing the spinach and bacon. Top the filling with shredded cheese and bake in the oven until fully cooked. Spinach and Bacon Quiche Recipe:

Yield: 8 servings

Ingredients:
6 large eggs, beaten
1 1/2 cups heavy cream
Salt and pepper
2 cups chopped fresh baby spinach, packed
1 pound bacon, cooked and crumbled
1 1/2 cups shredded Swiss cheese
1 (9-inch) refrigerated pie crust, fitted to a 9-inch glass pie plate

Directions:
1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
2. Combine the eggs, cream, salt, and pepper in a food processor or blender. Layer the spinach, bacon, in the bottom of the pie crust, then pour the egg mixture and cheese on top.
3. Bake for 35 to 45 minutes until the egg mixture is set. Cut into 8 wedges.
