How To Make Black Bean Burgers

Tired of the same old meal then why not try this Quinoa Black Bean Burger perfect for vegetarians or lovers of quinoa and black beans. All ingredients can be found in your local grocery store. The main ingredients needed are black beans, egg, bread crumbs, and quinoa. You will want to cook the quinoa in vegetable stock and not beef or chicken because these are vegetarian burgers. Mix in a bowl the black beans and quinoa first, then to add some flavor you will want to add in some onions, yellow peppers, garlic, cumin, and any other herbs. In order to get that patty shape you will need to add in an egg and bread crumbs. Use your judgment to see if the patty’s consistency is well enough to make a burger. Chef Thomas recommends not cracking the egg over your ingredients in order to avoid having any egg shells go into your mixture. Let the mixture marinate for a while in the refrigerator. Take the mixture out and shape into a hamburger patty. Warm some olive oil in a pan and then fry your patties. They go right from the pan straight onto the burger bun. For more great cooking demonstration videos, subscribe to the LearnToCookOnline YouTube channel.
