How To Make Chow Mein

This tasty dish is full of flavor and can be made in many different ways. The popular dish is often a staple on the menu of Chinese restaurants and the stir-fried noodles are a favorite of many Americans. The dish can be made with vegetables and chicken, beef or shrimp. If you want a lighter dish, you can always include tofu as a protein. You can also make chow mein with just the vegetables and serve as a side dish to orange chicken. This dish can be made by stir-frying chopped vegetables and cooked soba noodles, or chow mein noodles, in a large oiled skillet or wok with chicken broth, hoisin and soy sauce. Include vegetables like cabbage, water chestnuts, carrots and broccoli, and garnish with green onions. In this video, Chef Mark gives an online cooking lesson on how to make a quick chow mein. For more great cooking demonstration videos, subscribe to the LearnToCookOnline YouTube channel.
