How to Make a Peach & Raspberry Parfait

It’s no coincidence that this sophisticated dessert shares it name with the French word meaning, none other, than perfect. Tart raspberries and sweet vanilla peach compote balance one other while creamy whipped cream brings all the flavors full circle. Peel back layer after luscious layer or mix it all together, no matter your method, this light and decadent confection never disappoints. Chef Susie shows you how to make your last course count by learning to cook this effortless, time-saving and affordable peach and raspberry parfait in today’s online fundamental pastry class.

Start by peeling and chopping your peaches. Mix peaches, sugar and vanilla extract in a bowl and set aside in fridge to let flavors meld. If you’re opting for homemade whipped cream, take this time to make it. If not, don’t worry about it. When peaches are ready, prepare your glasses and start filling them layer by layer, alternating the whipped cream between every fruit layer and ending with it on top. Once filled, garnish with a raspberry and/or slice of peach for the final presentation. Bon appetit! For more great cooking demonstration videos, subscribe to the LearnToCookOnline YouTube channel.
