I enjoyed the video and Chef Marks style my only critical observation because I am a very novice cook is how much water did you use in the part where you started to put the leaves in with all the other ingredients that were in the stock pot beginning already to cook ?
Hi timothy
I used 1 qt of water. Also you should cut up the ham hock and serve it as well !

How long did you cook them
You should cooked them for about 25 to 30 minutes.
Thanks so much chef. I found your video to be very helpful. Also like the idea of the jalapeno. I like my greens spicy and with vinegar. I’ve tried pepper flakes in the past but never jalapeno. Definitely going to give your recipe a try.
Hi Terri
Hope you enjoy the recipe! Glad you found the video to be helpful.
Thank you for your help that was very helpful. My question you put in the stem & how long did you cook the stem before you put in the leaf?
