How To Make Shish Kebabs

Shish kebabs are a popular Mediterranean dish and a great street food. These skewered treats are also known as souvlaki and are fun to make at home as well. Marinate some chunks of pork loin or rib in lemon juice, zest, oregano, olive oil, salt and pepper for a few hours. When the shish kebabs are ready to prepare, simply grill the skewers on both sides. The shish kebabs can be served on the skewer or removed and plated over a bed of rice. You can make vegetable skewers to add some color to the dish, or serve with sautéed vegetables. If you are not a fan of pork, shish kebabs are also commonly made with lamb, beef or chicken. In this video, Chef Mark provides an easy online cooking lesson for making tasty pork shish kebabs. For more great cooking demonstration videos, subscribe to the LearnToCookOnline YouTube channel.
