How To Make Popcorn Balls

Popcorn balls are an unusual treat that are fun to make with the kids. After you’ve made some unflavored popcorn over the stove, you can prepare your binding mixture. Combine powdered sugar, miniature marshmallowsbutter, corn syrup and water in a skillet, and melt over low heat. Once the mixture is thoroughly melted, fold in the popcorn. To form the popcorn balls, first spray your hands and a baking sheet with Pam non-stick baking spray to prevent the mixture from sticking to your hands. Gently roll baseball sized balls of the mixture and allow them to cool. You can decorate the popcorn balls with drizzled chocolate, sprinkles or candy to give them some Halloween flair. In this video, Chef Susie provides an online cooking lesson for fun Halloween inspired popcorn balls. For more great cooking demonstration videos, subscribe to the LearnToCookOnline YouTube channel.
