How To Make A Grilled Cheese

Although the name implies otherwise, you do not need a grill to make a delicious grilled cheese sandwich. The most common form of preparing a grilled cheese sandwich is actually over the stove. Simply heat butter in a skillet over medium to low heat and place the assembled sandwich in the pan. Once the bread becomes golden brown, flip the sandwich and repeat on the other side, thoroughly melting the cheese. This classic sandwich has been adapted to incorporate an endless variety of ingredients and is adored by adults and children alike. For a more refined palate, experiment with gourmet flavors like Jarlsberg cheese, truffle oil and arugula. The possibilities are endless.
