Corn on the cob recipe:

Ingredients
6-8 Corn shucked
2 Tbsp Granulated sugar
Salt and pepper
Softened butter

Procedure
1. Put sufficient amount of water on to boil should be enough to totally cover corn. Add sugar if desired, but not salt as it tends toughen tender corn.
2. Shuck corn and remove all silk threads
3. Add corn to boiling water when it returns to a simmer. Turn corn off, and check in 15 minutes to determine tenderness of niblet as desired.
4. Remove and serve with salt, pepper and butter.
