How To Grill Perfect Peppers

Grilled peppers are a tasty addition to any meal. You can mix up the variety of peppers – you don’t have to stick with bell peppers. But if you do stay with the sweet bell peppers, use green, yellow and red to add a striking look to your dish. The nutritional benefits of peppers are just as good as the flavor benefits. They are rich in vitamin C, antioxidants and lycopene. To grill peppers you can use a grill basket, or simply place the slice in the opposite direction of the grates so they don’t fall through. Marinate the peppers to add an extra boost of flavor or let the peppers stand alone and lightly brush them with olive oil and dry seasonings. You can make many dishes with grilled peppers. If you want to make a whole meal with the pepper, cut it in half and grill the peppers, then stuff them with a southwest inspired mixture of beans, rice, corn, ground beef and cheese. In this video, Chef Mark provides an online cooking lesson for making the perfect grilled peppers. For more great cooking demonstration videos, subscribe to the LearnToCookOnline YouTube channel.
