How To Make Beef And Broccoli

Looking for an easy dish to make for the family after a long day? Beef and broccoli is a mainstay on many Chinese takeout menus and so simple to cook at home. Most of the ingredients are already in your pantry and you get your protein and veggies all in one dish! Cut your top sirloin beef in thin strips and sear in a skillet until the liquid has been removed from the meat. Once the meat has been cooked partially through, add in a can of tomato soup, soy sauce, rice wine vinegar, garlic powder and black pepper. Stir the ingredients together in the skillet, or a wok if you have one, and add your fresh, chopped broccoli. If there is not enough liquid in the pan, you can add some stock or water and allow the dish to cook until the broccoli becomes tender. The dish is delicious served over a bed of rice that will help absorb the delicious gravy. In this video, Chef Mark leads an online cooking lesson for beef with broccoli that gives you all the details to prepare your own at home. For more great cooking demonstration videos, subscribe to the LearnToCookOnline YouTube channel.
