How To Make Apple Cake

Nothing beats a homemade Apple Cake! In this video, Chef Susie demonstrates how simple it is to make an Apple Cake from scratch.  This recipe does not call for any fancy equipment or many ingredients.  To start off we will be making a simple mix with granulated sugar, vanilla, whole eggs, oil, baking flour, cinnamon and baking soda. Before we add all the ingredients in one big bowl, you will want to whisk your sugar, eggs, and vanilla together. Next, gradually mix in the rest of the ingredients. As Chef Susie points out make sure to sift the flour, cinnamon, and baking soda beforehand.  After all that is done fold in the sliced apples into the batter. Pour the batter into a greased baking pan and bake at 350ºF for about 30 minutes. Top it off with some powdered sugar and raspberries. This cake is perfect to whip up for any get together. Apple Cake Recipe:

3 eggs
1 ½ cups sugar
¾ cup vegetable oil
1 ¼ teaspoons vanilla
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 ¼ teaspoons ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon baking soda
5 apple peeled, cored and diced


  1. Whisk together the eggs, sugar and oil. Sift the dry ingredients together and add to the egg mixture in 2 stages.
  2. Fold in the apples and pour mixture into a 9 inch ring pan and bake at 350 degrees for about 30 minutes until the cake springs back when touch or a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  3. Cool for about 20 minutes and dust with powdered sugar, drizzle with caramel sauce and decorate with fresh raspberries and walnuts. Serve
