The only must have cocktail for any Luau Party would have to be a Mai Tai. There isn’t anything worse than serving a bad tasting drink. Chef Mark gives an out of this world recipe for a tasty Mai Tai everyone will love. Ingredients needed are a cocktail shaker, crushed ice, spice rum, coconut rum, grenadine syrup, pineapple juice, and orange juice. First, you will want to pour in about 1 ½(9counts) of spice rum and coconut rum in cocktail shaker, then add in a teaspoon of grenadine syrup, 3 ounces of pineapple and orange juice. Close cocktail shaker and shake all ingredients together. Fill glass with crushed ice and top it off with a cherry. This will be the hit of the party! MAI TAI RECIPE:

Ingredients:
¾ oz Fresh lime juice
¼ oz sugar syrup (2 parts sugar, 1 part water, best to buy store bought)
1/4 oz Orgeat almond syrup
½ oz Orange Curaçao
2 oz Premium aged rum
Garnish: Lime rind and fresh mint sprig

Method:
1. Add all the ingredients to a shaker and fill with crushed ice. Shake vigorously until the shaker is well-chilled and frosty on the outside.
2. Pour (unstrained) into a double Old Fashioned glass. Garnish with half of a juiced lime and a fresh mint sprig.
