Fizzy Rum Old Fashioned Recipe

Ingredients
A double rocks glass
1 thick orange slice
3 maraschino cherries with stems
3 dashes of Bitters
½ oz simple syrup ( ¼ shot)
5-6 ounces (4 shots) of amber colored rum (Mt. Gay)
Ginger ale or club soda to float
Another orange slice and cherry for garnish
Muddler- or back of thick spoon to crush the fruit

Procedure
1. Put one fruit slice and 3 cherries in glass and crush well or muddle, add three drops of bitters, and simple syrup. Muddle again
2. Add cubed ice 3/4 way up glass.
3. Pour in rum
4. Float with Ginger ale
5. Serve with skewered fruit slice and a cherry on a cocktail pick.
6. Serve with stirrer
