Cauliflower is a coniferous vegetable that resembles broccoli. The plant comes in orange and purple varieties, but it is often seen as the white cauliflower most people are familiar with. Cauliflower provides great health benefits and can be prepared in a variety of different ways. It can be roasted, fried, steamed or boiled, and mashed to appear like mashed potatoes. The nutritious food can even be eaten raw. To make cauliflower pollenaise, you can simply steam the chopped cauliflower over boiling water until it is tender but not too soft. Plate the cauliflower heads and top with chopped hardboiled eggs, salt, pepper, bread crumbs, extra virgin olive oil and chopped parsley. In this video, Chef Mark gives an online cooking lesson on how to make a fun and simple cauliflower dish. For more great cooking demonstration videos, subscribe to the LearnToCookOnline YouTube channel.
