How To Make The Perfect Coleslaw
Coleslaw is a classic side dish that conjures up images of picnics and sunny days. Thinly slice cabbage, then lightly salt the shredded result and allow to rest for about 30 minutes. This will soften the cabbage slightly giving it a texture better for the slaw. Rinse the cabbage and add the accompanying ingredients like raisins, shredded carrot and red cabbage. Toss the solid ingredients to combine and add in rice wine vinegar, onion salt, pepper and mayonnaise. Completely combine the ingredients and serve with a basic burger or sandwich for a great lunch.
