How To Grill A Steak

Summertime means it is time to break out the grill and enjoy the weather. For some reason, everything tastes a little better when it’s cooked over the open flame of your backyard barbecue, and steak is no exception. To make the perfect grilled steak, start with a clean, oiled grill to create a nonstick cooking surface. You don’t want to be unable to flip the steak. Leaving it on the grill too long will overcook the steak and create an unpleasant leathery texture. Use a meat thermometer to measure when your steak is done to your liking. Allow the steak to rest before serving to prevent releasing all the delicious juices from the meat. The mouth-watering flavor of a good steak doesn’t require much seasoning. Simple seasoning of salt, pepper and olive oil run will be enough to enhance the flavor of your grilled steak. In this video, Chef Mark provides step-by-step instructions on how to cook a delectable grilled steak. For more great cooking demonstration videos, subscribe to the LearnToCookOnline YouTube channel.
