How To Cook Pan Fried Steak

Not everyone has a kitchen outfitted with all the latest trendy one-function gadgets. However, every kitchen does have the best multi-purpose tool around: the frying pan. Pan Fried Steak Recipe

Ingredients:
7- oz. Kansas City strip loin steak (bone in)
Sea Salt
2 tbsp coconut oil or clarified butter
1 large sprig of fresh rosemary
1 clove of garlic unpeeled.
½ cup ancho chili or beef stock
2-oz red wine
1/8 tsp freshly ground black pepper

Method:
1. Bring steak to room temp. Season the steak well with salt on both sides. Place skillet over medium heat and allow to get hot.
2. Add oil or butter and brown while turning steak over on all sides regularly to get an even brown color. Add garlic and rosemary after somewhat browned, baste constantly.
3. When browned remove steak to warming plate.
4. Remove some of the grease in the pan, and then add stock and wine allow simmering, adding black pepper, then taste to adjust seasoning.
5. Plate steak and pour sauce over all.
