You can’t ever go wrong with a nice cut of beef. On a cold day, you want a hearty meal that is easy to make and satisfies your cravings. Pan cook the filets in butter, olive oil, shallot and garlic. Occasionally baste the filet with the liquid, and you can even add some onion and garlic powder to boost the flavor. Once the filet is fully cooked, it can be placed on a toasted bun and dressed with blue cheese and hoisin sauce. Serve with a spring mix and some tomatoes so diners can choose to add greens to the sliders or enjoy separately. In this video, Chef Mark provides an online cooking lesson for making a mouth watering filet mignon slider. For more great cooking demonstration videos, subscribe to the LearnToCookOnline YouTube channel.
