There’s nothing like some good old traditional southern cooking; with that being said learn to cook a cornbread recipe that is to die for. You will need butter, sugar, eggs, buttermilk, baking soda, flour, jalapeños, and plain ground corn. Melt the butter and pour into a bowl. Next, add eggs, buttermilk, sugar, baking soda and whisk ingredients together. You will want to gradually add in flour and plain ground corn to avoid having any clumps. Fold in diced jalapeños into the mixture. Now, you will want to prepare the baking pan and pour mixture into the pan. You will be baking it for about 30-40 minutes at 375 degrees. Cornbread Recipe:

Ingredients:
½ Cup butter
2/3 Cup white sugar
2 Eggs
1 Cup butter milk
½ tsp Baking soda
1 Cup corn meal
1 cup all-purpose flour
½ tsp Salt
2 fresh jalapeño peppers diced

Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Grease an 8 inch square pan

2. Melt butter, remove from heat and stir in sugar. Quickly add eggs and beat until well blended. Combine buttermilk with baking soda and stir into mixture in pan. Stir in cornmeal, flour, jalapeños and salt until well blended and few lumps remain. Pour batter into the prepared pan

3. Bake in the preheated oven for 30 to 40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
