How To Make Pumpkin Pie

As fall rolls in, the great flavors of the season show up everywhere. One iconic seasonal treat is pumpkin pie. This Thanksgiving staple is a perfect way to end a meal on a chilly fall night and make use of the abundance of pumpkins from local farms. To make the pie filling, simply mix a pumpkin puree with nutmeg, cinnamon, ginger, and sugar then whisk in the eggs. Once it is combined, whisk some evaporated milk into the mixture to achieve that creamy, custard texture. Pumpkin Pie Recipe
makes 1 9” pie

2 eggs
1 lb. pumpkin puree
6 oz. granulated sugar
½ tsp. salt
¼ tsp. ground nutmeg
¼ tsp. ground cloves
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
½ tsp. ground ginger
12 oz. evaporated milk

1. Combine the eggs and pumpkin, blend in the sugar
2. Add the spices, salt and the evaporated milk
3. Pour into an unbaked pie shell and bake at 350 degrees for 40-50 minutes or until the pie is set, or until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean

  1. Why is there no recipe shown or SPOKEN with this video?? I went to the link and it’s a totally different pumpkin pie recipe!! No measurements of ingredients are even given during the video!! What’s up with that??? Would love to try it, but without a recipe I won’t attempt it.
