Broiled Shrimp Recipe:

Ingredients
6 ea. 16/20 Shrimp per person
Melted butter
Sea Salt
Paprika
2 wooden skewers soaked overnight in water

Procedure
1.Turn on broiler and adjust shelf/rack level so that distance from shrimp to heat element is about 5 inches.
2.With a the tips of scissors remove the intestinal track, and remove all the shell except the last segment near the tail
3.With 2 skewers pierce the shrimp and alternate the head and tail as demonstrated.
4.Brush with melted butter and salt the shrimp.
5.Place on oven proof dish and broil, adjusting distance as need to avoid scorching and burning.
6.Broil 4-5 minutes depending on heat the broiler produces
7.Turn over and continue cooking shrimp.
8.Avoid overcooking as shrimp will get tough and chewy. Optimal internal temperature of the shrimp should be no more than 155oF.
9.Serve hot, sprinkled with paprika and brush more butter as desired.

  1. I have always wanted to learn how to make this Thank you .. But I could not hear the sauce that you have after Lite Soy Sauce and before Agave.. What was that?
