Shrimp scampi may not be an American–made dish, but it is very popular in the U.S. nonetheless. Although it sounds fancy, it is an easy-to-make dish that everyone will enjoy. Clean the shrimp as you prefer, and cook them in butter in a pan. Once the shrimp are cooked, add in some chopped garlic and deglaze the pan with some white wine. Add some lemon juice and zest along with salt, pepper and parsley for light Italian-inspired flavor. In this video, Chef Fernando provides an online cooking lesson for making the deliciously classic shrimp scampi. For more great cooking demonstration videos, subscribe to the LearnToCookOnline YouTube channel.
