Almond & Parmesan Stuffed Bacon-Wrapped Dates Recipe
These almond and Parmesan stuffed bacon-wrapped dates are simple to make, completely irresistible and the perfect appetizer for your next shindig.
Almond & Parmesan Stuffed Bacon-Wrapped Dates Recipe:
Serves 6 – 8
Ingredients:
16 dates, pits removed
16 whole almonds, toasted
16 (1/8 x ½ inch) pieces Parmesan Reggiano (from ¼ lb. block)
8 slices of applewood smoked bacon
Method:
Preheat oven to 450°F
Place almonds on a parchment-lined sheet tray and roast for 6-7 minutes. Remove from oven and let cool
Stuff each date with one whole almond and one piece of Parmesan, wrap with a slice of bacon and secure with a toothpick
Arrange dates on a parchment paper-lined sheet tray and roast for 15 to 20 minutes
Serve on a platter and enjoy!
