How To Make Sloppy Joes

As the name suggests, this sandwich can be rather messy to eat. Sloppy Joes, which are typically served on a hamburger bun, are made from seasoned ground beef or turkey, onions and tomato sauce. The dish requires little prep work and is budget friendly. Be sure to drain out the excess liquid after the meat has browned. If you are hesitant to make this dish because of the mess, try filling a pita pocket with the mixture. The Sloppy Joe is a backyard cookout staple – maybe because it requires less cleanup. This simple sandwich is an American classic that is sure to satisfy kids and adults alike. Serve with no-frills classics like coleslaw or corn on the cob.
